Inclusive playgrounds are open with the support of the Foundation

Play is the main developmental activity of any child. It is in the joint games that children develop, discover the world of communication, learn to make friends. Installing inclusive playgrounds not only significantly improves the urban infrastructure, but also increases the level of accessibility of the environment for people with disabilities.

With the support of the Foundation's partners, 4 inclusive playgrounds have been installed: in the Park of the First President in Almaty (made in the USA), in the villages of Kuryk in the Mangistau region, Shamalgan in the Almaty region and in the city of Taraz (made in Kazakhstan). The design and elements of the playgrounds were developed taking into account the interests of children with special needs.

Geography of our projects

Since the launch of the Foundation's projects, 46 Psychological and Pedagogical Correction Rooms and 48 Resource Centers for Inclusive Education have been opened in the regions and regional centers of Kazakhstan. 15 cities are involved in the "Mentors" project, more than 200 teenagers from orphanages have found their mentors. In 6 cities of Kazakhstan, the "Opening the World" project is involved, where there are 15 specialized classes, as well as 1 group in a preschool educational organization for blind and visually impaired children.
