Training on goalball for teachers of school №10
Today in the gymnasium # 10 of Astana, in correctional classes of which children with visual impairment are trained, has passed training on the GOALBALL for teachers of physical culture. The trainer was Aslanova Elena Vitalevna, a physical education teacher and a goalball at a boarding school for children with visual impairment in Karaganda. During the day, Elena Vitalievna managed to tell about the theory and history of the goalball, and arrange a practical lesson for the teachers themselves.
Goalball is a special kind of sport for visually impaired and totally blind people. Unlike other sports that have been adapted, goalball was originally created with this idea. For the first time it was actively played in it all over the world back in the 1970s, but in Kazakhstan this kind of sport is just beginning to develop.
As correctly noted by Elena Vitalevna, goalball is important for both physical and analytical development of children. She generously shared with the teachers of the 10th school of physical education a program of lessons and a game of playing goalball in her own design. And the opportunity for the first time to play goalball with the experienced coach helped teachers understand the directions in which they need to work with children!
We thank the boarding school of Karaganda and Elena Vitalievna for their cooperation and support!
