A new meeting within the framework of the project «Peers to peers»
Friends, do you remember our project «Peers to peers»?
So, on the weekend, the pupils of the 7th grade of the school-lyceum №59 in Astana, together with the volunteers of our partner KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, visited the @artspace.astana studio and painted very nice pictures. ART therapy is liked by ALL, especially Zere, a student with special educational needs, which is taught at home. For her and her classmates, such meetings provide an opportunity not only to disperse and develop, but also to communicate and learn from each other.
«And where will we go next time with Zere?» the guys after the meeting were modestly interested. We were very pleased to hear this and see how the guys are communicating with Zere. We believe that this small step can be of great importance in creating an inclusive culture in schools.
We express our gratitude to the volunteers from KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, @schoolbus_astana, to the coaches of @artspace.astana for the support of our project!
The «Peers to peers» project is implemented with the support of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan.
